Hello! I have been an elementary teacher for over 20 years. I am a certified K-5 teacher who graduated from Mercer University and holds a master’s degree in Education. I have taken conceptual knowledge math courses, and studied and earned endorsements in the subjects of Reading and English Language Learning. My main focus is providing you with a strong, solid foundation in every subject area. I am a master teacher and know how to help you build your confidence and achieve your learning goals. I specialize in Kindergarten through 5th grade Math, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Social Studies, and Science.

If you need overall preparation for a state standardized test, I can help you with that as well. I have experience writing test questions for the state test, so I have knowledge of what will be expected of you. During one particular school year, I had the pleasure to help 90% of my students Exceed Expectations in Math and Reading on the state milestones test! That was a transcendent year for me as a teacher. It jump started my career as a tutor because I realized that if you have a deep understanding of what you are learning your possibilities become limitless! My specialty is the ability to diagnose learning gaps as we work together with your homework or tutoring lessons. I use the state curriculums and common core standards to design fun engaging lessons for you in order to help you gain true understanding of what you are learning.

I want to help you master any learning that was missed in previous grades. I use different strategies including interest and style of learning.
