Hi! My Name is Michelle, and I am from Minnesota, and I currently live in South Florida. I have had the opportunity to teach English and Spanish in Minnesota, Florida, as well as in other countries.

I am a certified teacher with many years of experience teaching English Language Arts, ESOL, and Spanish. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education, additionally, I also have my M.Ed with a concentration in Balanced Literacy. Most recently, I completed a 120 hour TEFL course where I received my TEFL certificate.

My teaching style is interactive, engaging and student centered. I create lessons, use materials, and select learning activities that are individually planned with the student's learning style and needs so that they can experience success in their learning. My favorite thing about teaching/tutoring is my students. It is very exciting to see students accomplish their learning goals and witness their ability to apply their learning to everyday life as they grow and flourish in their learning.

I am both a qualified English and Spanish teacher and tutor. I've been fortunate to work with a variety of learners for more than twenty years. In addition, I am someone who is continually learning. I'm committed to advance and grow by continuing to take classes, participating in study abroad opportunities, and engaging in keeping up with professional articles and books that equips me to be an effective teacher to all my students.
