I have a robust educational background in biology complemented by practical experience in the field. I received my B.S. in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology, and went to WVU for my Master's where my thesis focused on mesocarnivore response to forest fragmentation through the use of camera traps. Additionally, my certification as an Associate Wildlife Biologist through The Wildlife Society further solidifies my expertise in the areas of biology, environmental science, ecology, and earth science.

My journey in tutoring and teaching has been marked by a passion for sharing knowledge and fostering academic growth. At WVU, I was a TA for a variety of wildlife courses such as Mammalogy, Wildlife Techniques, and Ornithology where I facilitated learning for undergraduate students and held office hours for tutoring. After WVU, I worked at Bluffton High School, where I taught Earth Science to high schoolers. Over the past three years I have learned to employ diverse teaching methods tailored to individual learning styles and I have consistently strived to create an engaging and supportive environment that facilitates meaningful learning experiences.

During my tenure, I've successfully guided students through the intricacies of ecological concepts, witnessing their progress and enthusiasm for the subject matter. This experience, combined with my role as a wildlife biologist, uniquely positions me to offer practical insights and real-world applications, enhancing the educational journey for those seeking assistance in the sciences.

In conclusion, my educational credentials, teaching experience, and real world experience underscore my commitment to providing effective and enriching tutoring. I am eager to contribute my expertise to empower students on their academic endeavors.
