I studied music at the university level at the New England Conservatory of Music, one of the most prestigious music conservatories in the country. It is also the oldest independent school of music in the U.S. I studied music at Brevard College where I toured Europe singing at many large venues. My music studies continued at the College of Charleston, where I graduated magna cum laude. I also studied piano, guitar, theory, and composition at the Washington Conservatory of Music. I have performed since an early age, including vocal performances at the White House and the Washington National Cathedral.
My primary instruments include piano, vocals, and guitar. I play many others including mandolin and ukulele. I am versed in many genres including rock, pop, folk, country, indie, RnB, blues, Americana, gospel, classical, baroque, and romantic music. I can also teach you or your child to read music, as well as beginner to advanced theory and composition. And I have written and recorded many songs. I am very passionate about composition.
