I'm Ms. Madison! I graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in English Literature (certified in Exile Studies) and another in Psychology. I am published in The Journal of Early Intervention for my clinical work with young children with ADHD and other behavioral disorders, and worked as an Applied Behavior therapist from 2010-2015.

I have been a certified English teacher under the Florida Department of Education since 2013 and began working in high schools in 2011. I have a proven track record as a Highly Effective teacher in Miami-Dade County Public Schools (3rd largest school district in the nation) with great success improving reading scores in 3rd-9th grade students, both in the classroom and in private tutoring. In English, I have taught the following: 9th grade English, 10th grade Intensive Reading, Contemporary Literature, American Literature, and World Literature.

I have also taught AP Art History with a pass rate above the global, state, and district mean. Additionally, I have taught AP Psychology with a 100% pass rate in MDCPS.

Currently, I work at a Miami private school and have been tutoring private school students in Miami in AP Psychology, AP Art History, AP Language, AP Literature, and English (reading and writing), ranging in 3rd through 12th grade since 2021. My AP clients are for a few months, leading up to the AP exam, and my English-focused clients are for a few years, with speedy results and vast improvement.
