I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Florida International University, where I have developed a robust foundation in mathematics. My academic journey has been marked by high achievement in mathematics, with A’s in advanced courses including Algebra 1 Honors, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, AP Calculus AB, Calculus 2, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. Additionally, I earned a score of 3 on the AP Calculus AB exam. My passion for tutoring began during high school, where I took on the role of assisting my math teacher in tutoring students in pre algebra, algebra, and geometry. This experience was instrumental in shaping my approach to teaching, allowing me to refine my skills in breaking down complex concepts and presenting them in a clear and comprehensible manner. Over the past three years, I have continued to develop my tutoring expertise through both one-on-one and group sessions, working with students at various levels to improve their mathematical understanding and performance.
In addition to my tutoring experience, I graduated from Broward College in 2021 with an Associate of the Arts Degree, achieving a GPA of 3.8. My current academic pursuits include completing my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, where I maintain a GPA of 3.1. This academic background has not only solidified my expertise in mathematics but also equipped me with problem-solving and analytical skills applicable across a range of disciplines. My tutoring philosophy emphasizes a personalized approach tailored to each student’s unique learning style.
