As an award-winner professional artist with more than 20 years experience exhibiting internationally, and giving workshops and masterclasses, I offer an access to knowledge that goes beyond the building up of mere technical skills. As a skilled professional who has studied and applied the old masters traditional drawing and painting skills to a more contemporary view, I offer expert mentoring in all kind of drawing techniques, from the more expressive to the abstract, to the hyper-detailed realistic creations. I also offer portfolio advice and professional orientation, and I foster creative growth and individual expression tailored to each students interests and needs.
I welcome students of all levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals wanting to take the extra step. I emphasise on the importance of drawing both as an art form in itself, and as an agile means to generate ideas and improve the results in more complex artistic expressions, like painting, sculpting, printmaking, architecture design, etc.
The classes will be both from direct observation and from still images, and the style can vary from abstract to the most detailed realism, according to the level of the student.
Whether it's overcoming creative blocks, building portfolios, or exploring creative possibilities, my approach caters to a wide range of artistic pursuits.
A little bit about me: I am an award-winning Italian artist widely trained in the tradition of the old masters with a contemporary vision. l studied at universities in Italy, UK and Spain. I have a BFA and MFA in Fine Arts (Universidad Complutense Madrid) and a BA(Hons) in Illustration (University of Dundee). My work has been exhibited internationally in galleries in Europe, the US and Latin America. In 2023 I moved from Europe to the US where I live in South Florida.
