I am a medical student at the Frank H. Netter School of Medicine. I received my Bachelor's in Molecular & Cell Biology from UC Berkeley. I pride myself on giving students the opportunity to drive their lessons and shape their tutoring experience to their liking.
Sessions:
I hold all sessions virtually through Zoom. I follow a student-driven approach and tailor sessions to the student need.
Class content: I will explain concepts to you while also providing visual representations by drawing out figures and diagrams. I provide simplified explanations, real life examples, and easy to remember analogies. I also use textbook figures, and can provide more figures and videos for out of class learning.
Assignment assistance: I will help you through a combination of targeted-questioning and example work-throughs. I will help guide you through the right process by asking questions. I will also work through examples to teach you the correct process.
MCAT Prep:
I provide MCAT preparation services for all sections and for any stage of the study process. For new test takers, I provide a customized study schedule, with advice on resources to use and how to integrate them into your study plan. I provide PDF access to top resources.
In sessions, I address content, test-taking strategy, and section-specific strategy. For C/P and B/B, I provide explanations for any areas of weakness (refer to 'Sessions' above for information). Passage analysis includes detailed review of passages, and thorough question discussion including reasoning for right answers, and reasoning for wrong answers.
