Math has always been a passion of mine, since elementary school. I have always been particularly gifted at taking standardized exams. I pursued a degree in Applied mathematics with a minor in Accounting. After graduating, I began taking Actuary exams in order to become a credentialed Actuary. I am an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, as well as a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, the National Honorary Mathematics Society. I enjoy this profession, as it allows me to use my probability and statistics skills as well as my knowledge of business and finance.
I have over 15 years of experiencing tutoring Mathematics which began in HighSchool. I have provided private tutoring in nearly all math subjects to students ranging from elementary school all the way to undergraduate college. My students would describe me as patient and encouraging. I believe it is very important to not only focus on learning specific topics, but learning effective test-taking methods as well. Even with homework, there are key practices that help maximize efforts. I am prepared to help you all get where you want to be, with your math knowledge and test-taking skills.
