I spent 130 hours tutoring high school level math at Dos Pueblos High School as part of my UCSB Educational Pre-Professional program. Before that, in High School I worked as a private tutor. I work to maintain and build proficiency in all levels of math. I tutor in an inquiry-based fashion because deep learning is a process of discovery rather than delivery. I begin with students' mathematical foundations and build up from there in ways that are logical and memorable. I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam, an 800 on the SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test, and a 1440 on the SAT.
