Hi everyone! I am currently pursuing a degree at the University of California, Berkeley, where I am studying Political Economy and Public Policy. I take part in several on-campus activities such as Model United Nations, a social impact consulting club, and a professional business fraternity. These experiences have made me realize the significant opportunities and encounters provided with a strong college experience, this being the primary reason why I want to help current high schoolers with college admissions. I strive to help students figure out the colleges best-suited to them, assist with personal statements and essays, and organize extracurricular experiences. Having just gone through the college admissions process myself, I believe my insight and ideas will be particularly helpful.
In addition to college admissions, I would love to help elementary, middle, and high school students in the humanities fields. This includes English grammar and writing skills, government, politics, and geography. I am currently an english tutor for students Kindergarten - 8th grade. As a tutor, I emphasize hands-on learning through providing engaging activities and offering unique advice. In my tutoring sessions, I like to be as efficient as possible; this entails making the most of the tutoring time through planning lessons ahead of time and creating detailed slideshows. I also aim to dedicate time to assisting students with relevant classwork or homework.
