I am a current PhD candidate at University of California, San Francisco working on my dissertation in Epidemiology & Biostatistics. I graduated with my Bachelors in Biology from Cornell University and a Masters in Public Health from CUNY School of Public Health. In my free time, I love to do yoga, hike, and travel!
I have taught courses as a teaching apprentice focused on graduate-level Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and undergraduate Public Health. In the past I have tutored high-school and college students in French, English, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus and Biology, but I am currently focused on tutoring Epidemiology and Statistics content.
My personal commitment to setting and achieving academic goals helps inform my tutoring practices. I focus on the students' goals and work with them to create a step-by-step approach to achieving their goals in the most efficient manner. I have experience working with many different students and I believe that a students' needs, interests, talents, and learning styles must inform tutoring.
I am excited about helping students achieve their academic goals in order to further their interests and ambitions. Please contact me for more information on availability and scheduling lessons.
