I bring more than just signs - I share the heart of ASL and our culture. As a Deaf (Hard of Hearing) tutor, I’ve worked with college, high school, middle school, and adult private learners across ASL levels 1–4, offering rich cultural insight alongside language instruction.
Most importantly, I have cultural lived experience as a Deaf person. I can also read lips to support all of my students when needed in English environments. I have been working as an ASL Tutor (levels 1-4) at a local college for the past year, as a private ASL tutor, and have also served as a Teacher's Assistant for (levels 1-2). I have a degree in American Sign Language, as well as a Certificate of Achievement. I also have a Bachelor's from the University of Southern California.
A one-hour minimum is required for all lessons to ensure a productive and effective session. This allows for thorough material coverage, practice problems, and ample time for questions and concept comprehension.
