Hey everyone! I am a University of Chicago graduate, currently earning a masters degree in computer science while maintaining a position as an ACT and subject tutor. In my nearly five years of tutoring experience, I have uniquely specialized in ACT prep, generally improving students' scores by an average of 10-15 points. I personally prepared for the ACT utilizing a proven set of strategies that I still incorporate into my lessons today. Without proper preparation, the ACT can feel nearly impossible. Having earned a composite score of 35 (on my first attempt), I understand what is required to effectively and efficiently prepare for the ACT, and it is my goal to ensure each student feels confident and composed by the time they sit down to take their exam.

As a computer science tutor, I specialize in all levels of undergraduate computing courses, including the following languages and concepts: Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, data structures, operating systems, advanced algorithms, software engineering, artificial intelligence, web design, mobile computing, and more.

I have a wide range of tutoring experience, working with students from middle school through undergraduate level. In high school, I completed 11 AP courses, scoring all 4's or 5's. Specifically, I can tutor mathematics through multivariable calculus, programming, statistics, reading/writing, Spanish, and the core physical and biological sciences through the collegiate level.
