My sessions are structured and efficient: a quick diagnostic to find the exact skill gaps, a targeted lesson with worked examples + socratic questioning, and finish with spaced practice and a short “exam-style” checkpoint so skills stick. I translate word problems into clear steps, teach calculator and Desmos techniques where helpful, and share custom notes/assignments after each session. Parents receive brief progress updates so everyone knows what we covered, what’s next, and how to study between meetings.
I’ve supported students across public, private, and homeschool curricula, including integrated math sequences, block schedules, and accelerated programs.
