I am a recent graduate of UC San Diego, where I completed my degree in Global Health B.S. with a 4.0 GPA, graduating summa cum laude at the top of my class. As a pre-med student and MCAT taker, I have built a strong academic foundation across the sciences, from biology and chemistry to organic chemistry and biochemistry, as well as social science courses in global health. This wide-ranging background has given me both the technical expertise and the critical thinking skills to approach complex material with clarity and precision.

Beyond my coursework, I’ve gained hands-on experience in teaching and mentoring. At UCSD, I served as a Teaching Assistant for an organic chemistry class and lab, where I worked closely with undergraduates to break down difficult concepts, guide them through lab techniques, and help them gain confidence in their problem-solving abilities. I also have several years of tutoring experience with both high school and college students in math, chemistry, biology, and other pre-med prerequisites. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and tailoring explanations to meet each student’s unique learning style.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students see the bigger picture—how the subjects they’re studying connect to each other and to their future goals. I aim not only to boost grades and test scores but also to build lasting understanding and confidence.
