Hi everyone! I'm Harshita, and I am a freshman in college. I will be attending the University of Southern California starting in January and will be majoring in Economics & Mathematics. During high school, I took all the math-related subjects, including Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus BC.

I have a lot of experience working with kids, teaching them how to draw and paint. In addition to that, I have tutored kids at after-school programs and have found that my strong suit is math from a teaching perspective. I have mostly taught elementary school kids in a one-on-one setting, which I feel makes a class more personalized and effective for the child. I make my lessons engaging and fun for kids as I keep asking them questions throughout the lesson to get their brain juices flowing. I may occasionally give the kids small quizzes to see if they are able to understand the material and see if they need more work on a specific topic. If kids need help with math homework, I am flexible when it comes to that. My goal is for kids to improve over time and push beyond their comfort zone, allowing them to discover their full potential. Math can be a hard subject to learn, but with patience, practice, and motivation, kids can overcome this obstacle and eventually get to advanced math.
