I am a current B.S. candidate in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles, the #1 public university in the nation.
I have tutored students in math since 2020. I first began tutoring through a high school program in which I taught Algebra 1 to English Learners whose first language was Spanish. I taught small groups of students in a classroom setting and tailored my style according to the learning needs of the students. Since graduating high school, I currently tutor high school sophomores and juniors in Algebra II and Trigonometry. I do this virtually through MyTutorLearning, which connects student tutors to high schools. I tutor these students in both Spanish and English.
In high school, I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the Seal of Biliteracy. I have passed 10 AP exams, including 5s in AP U.S. History and AP Human Geography. In the year that I attended university, I made Honor Roll for Fall Quarter and am attending a research program during the summer.
I feel comfortable tutoring a variety of subjects, including Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Calculus, Chemistry, History, and Spanish. Additionally, I am happy to work with students of any age. I have received help countless times throughout my educational journey, as such, I believe it is my responsibility to pay it forward.
I look forward to working with you! Please reach out if you are interested!
