I have been a dedicated tutor for the past three years, working with students through two other tutoring companies in the San Diego area. Over the course of my tutoring career, I have developed strong proficiency in a range of subjects including Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science. Additionally, I offer support in standardized test preparation for the SAT and ACT, helping students build confidence and improve their scores. My tutoring approach is personalized and adaptive, aiming to meet the unique needs of each student. I have also volunteered and taught a a school for cognitively challenged children, so I have a wide range of tutoring experience.

Currently, I am a fourth-year Computer Science major at California State University San Marcos. My academic background, combined with hands-on tutoring experience, allows me to effectively support students in both one-on-one and online sessions. I take pride in being patient, communicative, and committed to my students’ success. Whether your student needs help understanding difficult concepts or preparing for an important exam, I will do my absolute best to provide a positive, supportive, and productive learning experience.

I have earned a composite score of 35 on the ACT and currently maintain a 4.0 GPA at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), where I am pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Professionally, I gained hands-on industry experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Viasat, where I contributed to real-world projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a tutor, I take a personalized and concept-driven approach. I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable, intuitive steps, encouraging active problem-solving and critical thinking. I aim to build confidence and independence in students by guiding them through practice problems, offering real-world examples, and adjusting my teaching style to match their learning preferences.
