Hello! My name is Abi, and I'm a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and Earth Science. My own academic path, which included success in multiple high school AP courses like Calculus, Physics, and Literature, provided me with a strong, interdisciplinary foundation. This direct experience with College Board curricula, combined with my advanced university coursework, allows me to effectively tutor subjects from K-6 reading and arithmetic to high school and college-level STEM courses like Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Physics.

My tutoring philosophy is centered on clear communication and adaptability. I have worked with a diverse range of students, from elementary school children building core skills to college peers tackling complex physics problems. This experience has taught me that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. I pride myself on listening carefully to each student to identify their unique learning style, and I excel at breaking down complex concepts into relatable, understandable steps. My goal is not just to help with homework, but to foster genuine comprehension and self-assurance.
