My style of tutoring involves practice based learning, because I feel practice question are the best way to learn. A student should try to attempt any questions on their own, and bring whatever they are struggling with to our lesson and we can walk through them together. If a concept seems to be particularly challenging, I will do a lesson on it to make sure they understand fundamental concepts. I can also help with memorization (which is key in biology).
