With a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students excel. As a tutor at Sylvan Learning and a district substitute teacher, I have worked with children of all ages, tailoring my approach to meet their unique academic needs. My specialty is math tutoring, with expertise in Algebra 2 and Calculus, and my teaching background includes roles with Sylvan Learning, RedFox Tutoring, LAUSD, and The Education Team.

I’ve had the privilege of working with students at various skill levels, from those striving to catch up academically to those seeking advanced challenges. At Sylvan Learning, I taught elementary and middle school students in a classroom setting, focusing on building their foundational skills. Through LAUSD and The Education Team, I gained valuable experience teaching high school students to prepare them for higher education. Regardless of a student’s starting point, I believe in personalizing education to ensure every learner receives the support and guidance they need to thrive. My teaching approach emphasizes mastering key concepts and reinforcing fundamentals, which I consider essential for long-term success in mathematics and beyond.

The most rewarding aspect of my work is hearing students share that math has become their favorite subject.
