In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I currently teach Adobe InDesign at two universities in Southern California and have years of experience in the program. I creatively and practically teach skills to all ages and with just a few lessons, you can start designing professional newsletters, brochures, books and other multi-page documents.
I have an MFA and almost a decade of teaching experience. I have advised college students on a regular basis. Besides regular college counseling, I can also review art portfolios for Studio Art AP courses in high school as well as for entry to colleges.
I am a practicing graphic designer and currently teach the Adobe Creative Suite at several Southern California universities and colleges as adjunct faculty.
