My educational qualifications and background include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance degree and a Master of Science in Finance with a concentration in Fixed Income degree from the University of Arizona. I am also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and possess Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 securities licenses. The CFA designation, in particular, is a rigorous process that is attained through sitting for and passing three six-hour tests encompassing all aspects of finance and completing several years of relevant industry experience.

In addition to my extensive financial educational background, I have more than five years of professional work experience at two large, publicly-traded international investment and brokerage companies as an equity research analyst. My professional experience spans both the buy- and sell-side investment industries, which provides me with a unique perspective of and well-rounded exposure to US public equity markets and equity investing.
