My name is Amelia! I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University. With over seven years of teaching experience across Pre-K through 4th Grade, I have cultivated a deep commitment to fostering a love of learning and supporting the unique needs of every student.
Currently, I teach 4th Grade, where I create an engaging, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child learns differently, and it is my mission to tailor instruction to meet those individual needs—whether through differentiated lessons, small-group instruction, or one-on-one support. I have extensive experience designing and implementing effective learning experiences in a variety of settings, including whole-class instruction, individualized tutoring, and enrichment programs.
Beyond the classroom, I have led numerous after-school tutoring sessions, intersession programs, clubs, and student activities that extend learning beyond the traditional school day. I’ve also had the opportunity to support Middle and High School students, helping them strengthen foundational skills and develop confidence as independent learners.
Throughout my career, I’ve been inspired by the incredible growth and curiosity of the students I serve. My goal is always to create a classroom culture where students feel safe, motivated, and empowered to explore new ideas, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning.
I am eager to continue applying my skills, creativity, and experience to make a meaningful impact in education—helping every student reach their fullest academic and personal potential!
