While he resisted the idea, he quickly took to her after just a few minutes allowing me to feel comfortable leaving him to learn from her right away. I love the fact that she is not a full-time teacher and, therefore, is not burnt out and seems to take on all of her students with as much energy as if they were her full-time students. My son had his own cubby and notebook where he recorded all of the new material he learned. She took the time to really know him and even tailored his lessons around.
She is reliable and conscientious in her work, and is willing to share information and resources so that we can continue to reinforce my daughter's learning throughout the week. Diana's lesson summaries are thorough and descriptive and provide me with clear information as to my daughter's lesson plans, her progress, and her current learning needs. Diana is a very kind and thoughtful lady who has been very nice for my daughter and I to work with. We recommend her as a tutor.
Regina is a very kind and patient tutor. She uses the Orton-Gillingham approach to teach my six-year-old son the basics of reading since he really struggled in kindergarten (we strongly suspect he is dyslexic). Regina is exactly who we were looking for. We have only had 3 sessions so far, but I could already tell she knows exactly what she is doing, she is well prepared and my son responds very well to her methods of teaching. I am very happy we found her! I definitely highly recommend Regina!!
