About
Laura: |
|
I have an undergraduate in Exercise Science from Auburn University and was a teaching assistant in Anatomy and Physiology for three semesters.
Upon graduating from Auburn in May, I went to Chile for 5 months where I took a Spanish as a second language course and developed my Spanish skills working with a ministry and living with a Chilean family. Before going to Chile I took Spanish classes and spent a summer in Honduras in addition to other shorter trips to Latin American countries.
I also tutor elementary students. I have had various tutoring experience with elementary students, and in college had two long term jobs where I worked with children under the age of 12.

With Big Brother Big Sister I frequently helped with homework, in Honduras I made lesson plans and taught for the toddlers, and have tutored at aftercare centers a number of times.
