I made the one of life's little mistakes and found myself on the receiving end of a Bachelors in History, focusing on the American Civil War. In the process, I studied facets of European, Ancient, and lots of Military History.
I also managed to wind up writing for a newspaper. I a sports column for a small paper in Illinois. That was some time ago. You never really forget how to do it. I have not only written about sports but spent a great deal of time playing and coaching. Unfortunately, I may be the worst third base coach of all time.
I'm not a genius, but I am relatively smart. I read extensively every night. Normally, it's along the lines of "Horton Hears a Who." I guess it's what you do with a four year old. So, I'm comfortable with children of all ages and probably adults. Probably? I guess adults too.
