Jon is an OR native with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oregon. He has worked close to 5 years as a process engineer in the high-tech/semiconductor industry in the Portland metro area.
He has a strong interest in helping students learn and improve their academics through tutoring one-on-one and in small groups. His resume includes over 3 years of tutoring experience in chemistry, math, physics and engineering courses of both high school and college level students. In addition, he has strong problem-solving skills and can express concepts in a clear and concise fashion to make them more easily understood by others. He works well with students to help set achievable goals in their pursuit to graduate high school and college.
