Being able to change people’s lives by helping them realize their potential for understanding concepts, and for solving problems through creative methods is why I find teaching so rewarding.
For the last 21 years, I have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages in various subjects, where I have had the opportunity to help change lives and further refine my teaching methods. I have taught in universities, public charter schools, and private learning centers and done in-home tutoring. As a Strategic Coach and Education Counselor, I work with high school students to help them prepare for the college of their choice.
I use a dynamic student-based teaching method, where I thoroughly evaluate the student’s skills and interests, understand their goals, and create a learning strategy that will work and keep them inspired.
The way I see it, they are all connected - Writing, Math, Science, Music, Dance. Being able to solve challenging problems requires creative thinking and proper discipline. My teaching method aims at getting the desired results through dynamic understanding and creative thinking.
I take notes and report all my tutoring sessions to the parents/guardians and students. I also ask for feedback to ensure the student and the parent are completely satisfied. If not, I will not charge for any classes.
While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer makeup classes as I understand there can be last-minute emergencies.
I can tutor online, at my current location in Granite Bay, CA, or a more convenient location for the student.
I wish you success, and look forward to hearing from you!
