Hello Yobani,   The equation would be 6x+17=19   6x=2  by moving the 17 over to the other side    x=(2/6)  by dividing both sides by 6   x=(1/3) can always check your work by plugging the result back into the original equation...

Hello Mousa,   The form you have it in is y=mx+b (slope-intercept form) and you need it in ax+by+c=0 (standard form).   to do this move the variables accordingly,    y=(1/3)x-4  original    y-(1/3)x=-4  move x over   y-(1/3)x+4=0...
