My Cancellation Policy I value my time spent teaching, and your time spent learning. To facilitate the scheduling of lessons, I use the following cancellation policy: Cancellation Policy for Students: If a student wishes to cancel the lesson, she/he must provide notice at least 8-24 hours prior to the beginning of the lesson. If a student cancels the lesson between 8 and 4 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of up to 35% of the lesson cost may be assessed. If a student cancels the lesson between 4 and 2 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the lesson cost may be assessed.   If a student cancels less than 2 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of up to 85% of the lesson cost may be assessed. Please give notice at least six hours before the start time of a scheduled session if you have to cancel or reschedule for any reason. If you cancel a scheduled session less than 6 hours in advance but at least 30 minutes before the start time, a fee of up to 50% of the cost of the lesson will be charged. If you cancel a lesson later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, a fee of up to 100% of the cost of the lesson will be charged. If you show up to a lesson late, the charge for the lesson will still be for the duration between the scheduled start time and the actual end time. If you are more than 30 minutes late to a session and have not communicated that you will arrive late, the lesson will be considered cancelled and a fee of up to 100% of the cost of the lesson will be charged. When calculating a cancellation fee, a session duration of one hour will be assumed in all cases unless a different duration has been agreed upon beforehand.

Cancellation Policy I allow students to cancel lessons up to one hour in advance, with no additional charge. Cancellations with less than 60 minutes than the scheduled start time of the lesson will result in a full lesson charge. My cancellation policy applies to lessons that are pre-scheduled with unconfirmed details. For example, if we have a scheduled lesson, but I don't receive confirmed details regarding the new tutoring location's address, I will assess the cancellation fee. Late Policy The lesson will be charged from the agreed start time of the lesson, even if the student is late. If the tutor is late, the lesson will not be charged until tutoring begins. (However, it is very very unusual that I am ever late!)

To my students and their families, Thank you so much for the opportunity to be your tutor. It is with great joy that I prepare an individualized lesson plan ahead of time, as well as detailed coursework for both in-class and after-class practice. As a result of the preparation needed to provide quality service for every student, I reserve the right to issue a cancellation fee for students who either cancel within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled time slot or for students who fail to show up to the lesson within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled time slot.   A cancellation fee of $15 will be issued for those who cancel within twenty-four hours of the scheduled time frame OR who show up to lesson 15 minutes past the start time without prior notice. If a student wishes to cancel a lesson, he/she must provide a notice at least 8 hours prior to the beginning of said lesson. This allows sufficient time to schedule others who may be waiting for a lesson. If a student cancels less than 8 hours prior to a lesson, a 100% cancellation fee may be charged. If a lesson is not cancelled, yet the student fails to show up within the first 15 minutes of the lesson, a no-show fee of 110% of that lesson will be given, unless an emergency had arisen at the time of the lesson. If a student is counted as a no-show two times, future lessons will only be given at a 200% rate of the tutors existing rate. After three no-shows, the student will not be allowed any more lessons. A lesson begins and ends at the time scheduled. If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time and the full lesson fee will still be charged.

Student must notify Tutor of cancellation at least six (6) hours in advance. Otherwise, the cancellation fees below will be incurred. If the notification is made less than six (6) hours in advance, but greater than one (1) hour in advance, Tutor reserves the right to charge a fee equal to 50% of the cost of the lesson. If the notification is made less than one (1) hour before the scheduled start, Tutor reserves the right to charge for the cost of the entire lesson. Student must notify Tutor of tardiness at least six (6) hours in advance. Student may not be more than thirty (30) minutes tardy; the lesson will be treated as cancelled otherwise. I reserve the right to charge up to the full amount of a lesson or the amount of an hour-long session, whichever is the lesser, in the event of cancelled lessons less than 4 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson.   Additionally, I reserve the right to charge this same cancellation fee for no shows. I consider no shows to be sessions where the student does not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without notice given 4 hours in advance.

If the lesson needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, please inform me through Wyzant messaging atleast 24 hours before the lesson begins. A no-show is a student who is more than 15 minutes late. For no-show students, a cancellation fee equal to the full amount of the lesson will be assessed. If the student is going to be late to the lesson, please feel free to inform me that way I do not consider the student to be a no-show and therefore continue with the cancellation fee.

For that reason, I believe it is important to have policies around scheduling and cancellations. Scheduling I schedule students on a first-come, first-served basis, and, normally, I have students who choose to keep a regular appointment or two each week. If the lesson is rescheduled with notice less than 36 hours, a $10 fee may be assessed.   Note: While I can usually find a time to reschedule, it is not always possible.
