1. Students are asked to give notice of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled time slot. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows will result in a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the missed lesson. If proper notice is not received, the student will be charged and forfeit their lesson. Exceptions can be made in cases of emergency.
2. If proper notice of a cancellation is provided, a make-up lesson can be scheduled. All missed lessons must be made up within 30 days. Make-up lessons are dependent on my schedule and availability and are up to the student to schedule. If missed lessons are not made up within 30 days, the student will be charged for the missed lessons.
3. I expect students to show up consistently for their lessons. Frequent cancellations will be evaluated on an individual basis. Depending on the reasons and circumstances, students may lose their spot due to frequent cancellations.

Please notice: at least 5 hours before the scheduled start time of the lesson if you are unable to make it for any reason. Please notice the Student cancellation policy:
5+ hours: No penalty
2-5 hours: 75% of lesson fee
2 hours or less: 100% of lesson fee
Student no-show policy:
30 minutes after scheduled:100% of lesson fee and the lesson will be cancelled
Student late-show policy:
Joining within 30 minutes of scheduled start time:100% lesson fee for the scheduled time.
I respect both your time and mine. As such, the following cancellation policy will go into effect on 10/14/20.
If you need to cancel:
If you cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled lesson, there will be no charge and we can reschedule for a better time.
If you cancel within 4-12 hours before your scheduled lesson, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the lesson price.
If you cancel less than 4 hours before your scheduled lesson, there will be a cancellation fee of 75% of the lesson price.
My minimum lesson time is 1 hour. If you arrive late to a lesson, need to leave early, or don’t have enough material for an hour, I will still charge for the entire hour.
If you do not show up within 15 minutes of the lesson start time, I reserve the right to consider it a ‘no-show’ and charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the lesson price.

Cancellation / No-Show Policy
Students who wish to cancel a tutoring session must send notification through Wyzant messaging either using the web page or mobile app. Cancellation fees are determined by using the percent of the cost based on the scheduled lesson.
For in-person lessons: Students must provide notice to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson to avoid cancellation fees. Lessons cancelled between 24 and 12 hours before a scheduled lesson are subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
