My qualifications represent a background of increasingly important assignments within educating organizations. These experiences have given me the opportunity to make many profitable contributions in a number of functional areas.
I have received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2002, I have received my M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2010, and currently pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I also have a provisional certifications in Mathematics (8-12) & ESL.
Through the past 10 years I have professionally worked in tutoring and teaching students in different areas of Mathematics. My tutoring career started at the University of Texas at Arlington in August 2000 when I worked as a Supplemental Instructor and as a Math tutor where I taught basic math, trigonometry, geometry, algebra, calculus in one-on-one and small group settings. In 2002 I joined the Boys and Girls Club as a Math tutor where I assisted children ages kindergarten through sixth grade in the development of math and reading skills; In 2005 I worked as a private tutor for Tutoring Direct and also for Professional Tutors of America. In 2009 I joined Arlington Independent School District as a Substitute Teacher.
