Cancellation Policy

Hello everyone. I love tutoring and helping others achieve higher levels of knowledge! With that being said, I value the time I spend teaching and the time you spend learning. In order to respect each of our times and schedules, I implemented the following cancellation, no-show and late policies:
Cancellation Policy: If you're unable to attend our scheduled tutoring session, please let me know through Wyzant's messaging system at least 12 hours prior to the start of the scheduled lesson. If you notify me 12 hours or more in advance, you will not be charged for the lesson and we can schedule a time that's more convenient for you.
If you decide to cancel the lesson between 3-11 hours before the scheduled lesson, 50% of the price of the lesson will be charged. If I'm notified two hours or less before the lesson, 100% of the price of the lesson will be charged.

No Show Policy: If you're 15 minutes late to a lesson and didn't notify me that you'd be late prior to the lesson, I'll consider it a "no show/cancelled lesson" and charge the full cost of the session.

Late Policy: If you are late to the session, but either notified me in advance or arrived before the 15 minute deadline, we can continue the session. However, you will be charged for the entire lesson and the total amount of time you arrived late will be deducted from your session (i.e. if the session began at 6:00 PM and you arrived at 6:10PM, the session will still end at 7PM). We can go past the scheduled time to make up for the lost minutes at my discretion and an additional charge will be added.

Additional Time: If our scheduled session time goes over by 10 minutes or more, I'll record the session as the actual time of the session (i.e. if the session is scheduled for one hour, but our lesson lasts for one hour and 30 minutes, I will log it as a one hour and 30 minute session). This will create an additional charge (in the above scenario, half of my rate will be added to the lesson).

Extenuating circumstances and emergencies will be taken into consideration in the event of a cancellation or no show.
Cancellation Policy: If I have to cancel a lesson, I will message you through Wyzant's messaging system and you will not be charged for the cancelled lesson.

Late Policy: If I am more than 15 minutes late to the session, I will reduce the cost of the lesson by 50% and we will make up for the time lost at no additional cost.

If I ever happen to miss a lesson, you will not be charged and the next lesson will be discounted 50%.
