Studying History

Far too many find history boring.  Why?  Because many instructors teach it that way.  To combat this, and improve your grades, do your best to visualize the scenes as you read about them in the text.  Place yourself within the context of what you are reading.  Imagine yourself as a colonial during the Revolutionary War.   Feel the heat of a cannon blast.  Visualize yourself listening to FDR's speech after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.  Feel the rush of taking your family west as a pioneer.  IMAGINE!
