First Step: Combine like terms on each side of the equation.

Example: For real numbers, I had to change the symbol from +25 to -25, so I can move the term to another side of the equation. I moved -25 to another side of the equation because I need to leave 6x alone because you need to solve for x.
When you have one term on each side of the equation such as one real number on one side of the equation and one variable on the other side of the equation, you must divide both sides by 6 because 6x is a variable and variables are known as multiplication terms because variables 6*x =6x and the opposite of multiplication is division. You have to divide both sides by 6, so x can be exactly 100% alone.
-15/6 will not help me get an answer of a whole number, but sometimes, your answer can be a fraction and sometimes a whole number.
After you divide six on both sides and you end up with a fraction like -15/6, then you must simplify the fraction to the simplest form.

The numerator is a top of the fraction while the denominator is a bottom of the fraction. For fractions like -5/2, -5 is the numerator while 2 is the denominator.
