Study, aim, "A"

As a board member of the hiring selection board for years, I observed and experienced that board members are always impressed by applicants with high grades on their transcript. A's and B+'s results in higher GPA. The unspoken favorable GPA average agreed upon by many board member is a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. However, extra-curricular activities, leadership positions in school organizations, training and experience in your chosen field, projects completed, people skills, and management skill, net working so on ... weighs heavy in the hiring selection. A higher GPA can be a tie-breaker when all other criteria are even.
