I need to solve this equation: Log(3x+5) = 1 + (log (x-1)

this is a fraction (e^x + 49 e^-x) / 2 =7

f(x) = 4x^4 + 21x^3 +33x^2 + 147x +35

This is a fraction x^2(9+x)(x-6) is the numerator (x+5)(x-2) is the denominator and it's all set to greater than or equal to 0

HOw would I factor this out?

I need help in solving (f-g)(5) and finding the domain. I also need to solve (f/g)(9) and find the domain.
