when we want x- intercept, we have to know that, the point we are searching for is somewhere in x axis. And in this axis, for every point y=0. This is our trigger point. Now, we just have to put o in place of y in this equation, and the answer will come gradually.

So, 2x-5y=10

=> 2x-5.0=10

now, as the intercept is a point, it has both x and y co-ordinate. We know the y co-ordinate; and has also get the x co-ordinate. Now, it's time to put all this together ..

So, the ans is, (5,0).
