What is the lightest element in the periodic table?

It is Hydrogen. This is because it has a molar mass of 1.00794, which is the lightest one of all the elements. When you look at the Periodic Table and look at the top left corner of each element the number there is the molar mass. Hydrogen is the one with the lowest molar mass. Therefore it is the lightest element.
