If you points then you can find the slope of a line using the slope formula: (y2-y2)/(x2-x1). It does not matter which coordinate set you make (x1,y1) but make sure the order is consistent when you plug into the slope formula. Then you can write an equation in either slope=intercept form (y=mx+b) or point slope form: (y-y1=m(x-x1)). For either equation you would plug in the slope value then choose one set of coordinates to plug in. If you use y=mx+b you will solve for a b value then write out your equation with m and b plugged in. For point-slope form you will plug in for m, x1, and y1 and that is it.
