I have an essay to write about on this topic and i don't know were to start or how to answer this question this is for my English class .

I'm not sure about the details of your assignment, but the way you worded your questions sounds like they're looking for culture and resource-based information.  Is the clothing modern?  Based in a specific region?  Often times, the clothing styles and constructions are influenced by the environment (hot vs. cold weather, mountain vs desert, etc) and what resources are available (wool vs cotton, types of dyes, and so on) plus the culture (what is considered appropriate, designs and colors found throughout art and architecture, and such.)  So, depending where the clothing is designed and who it's designed for (you can narrow your search on this if it's open-ended) you can then research the specifics of the aforementioned variables and create your paper around it.  I hope that this was helpful, and if you wanted to include more information about what the exact requirements are for the paper it might make it easier for someone else to give your some advice if I was off-base.  Good luck!
