Point D is connected by means of a connecting rod DF, 48 in. long, to a slide 8 at pin F, whose path is a horizontal line 9 in. below Q2 and to the right of D. Link BH, 12 in. long, is pinned to CD at B and link GH, also 12 in. long, is pinned to link Q4C at G which is 12 in. to the right of C. Fixed to link GH at G and extending upward and at a right angle to GH is a rod GK, 8 in. long.
