Study A: Mean=100.0, standard deviation=10.0, sample score=80, p=.05, Tails of Test= 1 (Low predicted)
Study B: Mean=100.0, standard deviation=20.0, sample score=80, p=.01, Tails of Test= 2
Study C: Mean=74.3, standard deviation=11.8, sample score=80, p=.01, Tails of Test= 2
Study D: Mean=16.9, standard deviation=1.2, sample score=80, p=.05, Tails of Test= 1 (Low predicted)
Study E: Mean=88.1, standard deviation=12.7, sample score=80, p=.05, Tails of Test= 2

Based on the information given for each of the following studies, decide whether to reject the null hypothesis. For each, give (a) the Z-score cutoff (or cutoffs) on the comparison distribution at which the null hypothesis should be rejected, (b) the Z score on the comparison distribution for the sample score, and (c) your conclusion. Assume that all populations are normally distributed.
