Greetings! Lets solve this shall we?

So, we must find out if this system of linear equations are consistent or inconsistent. Then,

2x+3y = 7

4x+6y=16

Lets multiply the first equation by -2 such that

-4x - 6y = -14

4x + 6y = 16................By addition method, we obtain

0 = 2 ? This means no solution. Hence, **inconsistent**.

I hope this helped!
