Hi Brown,
A) So let's do this the easy way. What is 10 people times 3/4 cup? Is is more or less than 5 1/2?
B) If we want all ten people to have a serving, we can set up the following equation:
Serving Size <= 5 1/2 cups / 10 people. Calculate the serving size.
C) This is a tiny bit more complicated,
Zoey needs 10 times 3/4 cup which is 7 1/2 cups. How much more is 7 1/2 cups than the 5 1/2 cups she already has?
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Ralph K.
