First of all, don't let it get the best of you! Pick it apart in pieces, then it will seem as overwhelming.

1. Parenthesis - (6-3) = **3**. This simplifies your equation to 2^{2} + 3 * **3**^{2}

2. Exponents - 2^{2 }= **4** and 3^{2 }= **9**. This simplifies your equation to **4** + 3 * **9**

3. Multiplication and Division - 3 * 9 = **27**. This simplifies your equation to 4 + **27**

4. Addition and Subtraction - 4 + 27 = 31. There you go!

Hope this helps. I went under the assumption that (6_3) = (6-3).

First, solve what's in the parenthesis. I can't tell what operation you have in the parenthesis, but do that first. If it's six+three, that will =nine. So, you will solve the exponents next. Take the nine from the () and square it. nine squared which is eighty-one (nine*nine). Next, you will do the other exponent two squared which is four (two*two). Then, you move to multiplication three*eighty-one=two hundred fourty- three. Finally, add four+two hundred fourty-three=two hundred fourty-seven.
Remember, I do not know what the operation is in the parenthesis. If it is different from addition, perform the correct operation but solve the problem the same.

First we remember our Order of Operations which is PEMDAS. In this problem, we first do what is in the parentheses first. That is 6 - 3 = 3.

then we find 2^2 = 4

We then have 4 + 3(3)^2 = 4 + 27 = 31. Slowed down a bit we do 3 times 3 squared. That is 3 x 9 = 27. Then add 4 to that = 31.
