I think you may have omitted some of the details from this question, or whoever wrote it omitted the details. Do you mean Station A is N35ºE of the fire and Station B is N49ºW of the fire? I think you also need some information about the direction from one station to the other, perhaps they are due east/west of each other? If so, you can draw a triangle and calculate all three angles, then use Law of Sines to calculate the length of the side connecting the fire and Station A.
