The DEVIATION of any statistic is equal to THAT STATISTIC minus the mean.
Deviation = X - mean where X is the given statistic
So then Deviation + mean = X
The statistics are: 0.8 + 46.3 = 47.1
-0.4 + 46.3 = 45.9
1.6 + 46.3 = 47.9
-1.2 + 46.3 = 45.2
-0.03 + 46.3 = 46.27
-1 + 46.3 = 45.3
BTW, it is unclear how many statistics there really are/were.
In the title of your posting, you say there are 8 stats. In the statement
of the problem, you say there are 8 and then 7 stats, but only list 6 deviations
which will produce 6 statistics. The you ask for the 8 statistics again.
Unless you can give the last 2 remaining deviations, you will have to
take the 6 stats listed in this solution. Optionally, add the two missing
deviations one at time to 46.3 and calculate the 2 missing stats yourself.
